Description

A revisioning of the wildly popular 1993 Animé film, NINJA SCROLL is a period action series about the battle between two ninja clans for a powerful artifact. Jubei Kibagami is a wandering swordsman selling his services throughout the countryside. During his travels, Jubei becomes entangled in a struggle between two warring factions: the dark and mysterious Hiruko clan, and the power-hungry Kimon clan. Both clans seek out the Dragon Stone and the only person who can use it, the Light Maiden. When the Dragon Stone falls into Jubei’s possession, he must battle off the supernatural agents of both clans and return it to the priestess Shigure, whom he suspects is the fabled Light Maiden. NINJA SCROLL is a 13 episode Animé series that combines fantasy, period settings, and violent action.
