Description

The highly acclaimed director of Japanese animation Hayao Miyazaki lends his exceptional talents to the beautifully imaginative ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’. Lonely Sophie works tirelessly in her hat shop, until one day she meets and befriends a strange man named Howl. This causes a witch to transform her into an old woman. Sophie seeks refuge in Howl’s castle, a place of magic that moves from one location to another. Within the castle, she hopes to restore her youth while making friends with a talking fire named Calcifer and a boy who tends to the castle’s door. Originally distributed in North America in 2004 by Walt Disney Pictures, this 2-disc DVD was later released in March 2006 and may be played in English, French, or Japanese.
